Introduce your kids to a classic toy with the RIT Model Railroad Club's
Tiger Train Show. The show includes operating layouts, a large HO-scale/free-MO setup, hands-on layouts for kids, railroad literature and displays. In an effort to promote model railroading as a hobby, and to aid in preserving Rochester's rich railroad heritage, the club was created back in 1996 by RIT students. Its members include current students, alumni and community members.
The show takes place at the RIT Gordon Field House Saturday, December 9, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, December 10, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $3-$5, children under 12 free.
