BUSH: Interring the Bill of Rights

Published on Oct 09, 2007

So it came to pass that in September 2007, we began the final interment of our Bill of Rights. Republicans in the US Senate filibustered the discussion of habeas corpus (as it relates to the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay).

Even the butchers of the Third Reich were allowed a trial.

A student asking a question at a political speech was electro-shocked into submission while the audience and the orator (a former presidential candidate) passively endured the inconvenience.

And now we find out that this administration, or one of its minions, used bogus reports of a terror threat at the Capitol to intimidate the Congress into legalizing the wiretapping of American citizens. An administrative official has stated that even publicly discussing the merits of wiretapping is giving aide and comfort to the enemy.

You didn't hear about these events from the mainstream media? Perhaps Viacom and Rupert Murdoch believe it's much more important to sell us pharmaceuticals.
