Eyes on Mexican oil

Retired SUNY Fredonia professor Bill Jungles will talk about US interests in Chipas, Mexico's oil at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 3 at Downtown Presbyterian Church, 121 North Fitzhugh Street.

The Bush legacy

Curt Smith, George H.W. Bush's former speechwriter and host of WXXI's Perspectives, will discuss the Bush legacy at 5 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, at the UR's River Campus, Rush Rhees Library.

Talking about the river

The Genesee/Finger Lakes Regional Planning Council will hold the Genesee River Conference from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, October 26 at the Genesee River Restaurant, 134 North Main Street, Mount Morris. Race and the city

The Peace Action Collaborative and the Anti-Racism Movement will hold a discussion, "Could Rochester be an Anti-racist City?" at noon on Thursday, October 4, at Third Presbyterian Church, 4 Meigs Street.

Going green

Living in Harmony with God's World will show the film, "Green is the New Red, White and Blue" at 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 9, at Henrietta United Church of Christ, 1400 Lehigh Station Road.

Diverse classrooms
