COST OF WAR: The Iraq conflict by the numbers (10/17/07)

TOTALS - 3823 U.S. soldiers, 302 Coalition soldiers, and approximately 75,151 to 81,887 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to October 15.

6223 Iraqi policemen and guardsmen have been killed since January 2005, according to an estimate compiled from news reports.
