Dance school DancEncounters will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a gala Friday, October 5, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Clarion Riverside Hotel. The event is suited for any dance lover, whether you're already an accomplished hoofer or just want to watch the pros at work. The evening begins with ballroom, swing, and tango performances by local dancers, followed by open dancing in two of the hotel's ballrooms.
