EDUCATION: Two new superintendent candidates named

The list of finalists for city schools superintendent has doubled. Tim Mains and Carlinda Purcell are joined by Jean-Claude Brizard, senior executive for policy and sustainability with the New York City school system; and Ingrid Carney a deputy superintendent in the Boston public schools.
Public forums to introduce the candidates will be held this month. Locations to be announced.
Monday, October 29: Jean-Claude Brizard.
Tuesday, October 30: Tim Mains
Wednesday, October 31: Carlinda Purcell
Thursday, November 1: Ingrid Carney
