After almost single-handedly bringing rockabilly to the masses with the Stray Cats, Brian Setzer performed CPR on swing with The Brian Setzer Orchestra. And Setzer continues to swing with that 18-piece brass monster, taking upbeat stabs at classical works penned by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Grieg. Setzer uses some of these pieces as a diving board for his unmistakable guitar, and he goes as far as to add contemporary lyrics to "Hall Of The Mountain King" (now titled "One More Night With You"), and on "Honey Bee," which he sets to "Flight Of The Bumblebee." This record is a whole lot of fun. It may be missing some of the swagger and raunch of earlier BSO platters, and the powdered wig fans may not dig the tweak from Setzer's trademark twang. But ain't nobody gonna be sittin' still.
