EDUCATION: Board will announce new superintendent tomorrow

The Rochester School Board has chosen a new superintendent and will announce that choice tomorrow. Board members say a majority agreed on one of the four candidates for the position and made the offer late last week. They declined to name the new superintendent, but clearly they have resisted public pressure to ask Interim Superintendent Bill Cala to accept the permanent position.
