Nobody wants a Furby anymore. And Tickle Me Elmo is long past his prime. Kids these days always have a new fad to follow, a new toy on the block. Strong Museum's National Toy Hall of Fame, however, honors those rare toys that have endured for generations; think Barbie and Silly Putty. This weekend, the Hall of Fame celebrates its 2007 toy honorees with a three-day celebration that includes lots of playtime and special performances. Look for appearances by Mr. Etch-a-Sketch, who creates unbelievable artwork using his - you guessed it - Etch-a-Sketch and Hilby the Skinny German Juggle Boy will juggle toys while presumably wearing lederhosen. Kids can also see Bob the Builder live and in person, and can play with plenty of Hall of Fame toys.

The National Toy Hall of Fame Celebration runs Friday, November 9, through Sunday, November 11, at Strong National Museum of Play, 1 Manhattan Square. Events are included in regular admission price, $7-$9. For more information visit strongmusuem.org.
