Both the main concourse of Renaissance Square and the Sibley Building could be our new downtown malls and could also be the new homes for many of the stores, restaurants, and offices currently in Midtown, as could several other vacant downtown buildings.
Sibley's and the Ren Square concourse could also be new homes for Midtown's totem pole and a restored Clock of Nations. The Strong Museum of Play could be another site for the clock and totem pole and would be an ideal site for a restored monorail. Perhaps, though, the Seneca building could be preserved to house many of the offices in Midtown - particularly those currently housed in the mostly-filled Euclid Building - and a consolidated downtown Post Office.
