A lawsuit filed by suburban school districts over Monroe County's FAIR Plan will be heard in state Supreme Court at 11 a.m. Friday. The judge's ruling is expected later this month.
The school districts are suing the county because FAIR cuts their share of sales-tax money in half. The districts say they shouldn't be subject to the revenue cut because of the pre-existing Morin-Ryan sales-tax sharing agreement, which is written into state law.
