KIDS: The Grinch (12/8-12/9)

Published by Susannah Snider on Dec 05, 2007

Dr. Seuss' infamous Grinch turns 50 years old this Christmas. To celebrate, the acerbic cave-dweller and star of the classic 1957 children's book will make a live appearance at Strong National Museum of Play on Saturday and Sunday, December 8-9. He will mingle with children and tale part in daily readings of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." The middle-aged green monster will be on his best behavior, and can now begin blaming his present-pilfering schemes on a midlife crisis.

The Grinch makes his appearances 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and noon-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission to the Museum costs $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $7 for children. For more information, call Strong at 263-2700 or visit strongmuseum.org.
