We all like personalized gifts. Add that they are creative works, and support local artists, and it's a recipe for gift-giving success. On Sunday, December 9, you'll have 31 opportunities to do just this as Lift Bridge Book Shop hosts its Local Author Extravaganza. "Preces Pro Animalibus (Prayers for Animals)," "Rush Hour Recipes of America," "A Complete Idiot's Guide to 30,000 Baby Names," and "The Belhurst Story" are just a sampling of the books that will be available for signing by the authors. These are good ideas for bibliophiles and autograph collectors, too. The extravaganza takes place 2-4 p.m. at 45 Main Street in Brockport.
