POLITICS: Supporting Ron Paul for president

Published on Dec 18, 2007
If you have been opposed to the invasion of Iraq and frustrated about the inability of the federal government or any of the top-ranked presidential candidates to commit to leaving, consider finding out about Ron Paul, the principled Congressman from Texas.

Ron Paul has never taken a government-paid junket or voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act and against regulating the Internet. He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program, and he returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the US treasury every year.

The Rochester Ron Paul 2008 Meetup Group has grown to over 200 people, and there are weekly opportunities to work for peace, liberty, and fiscal sanity by supporting Ron Paul for president.
