ROCK: The Sadies (12/8)

Often called Canada's best live band, Toronto's The Sadies straddle the country-rock line with jangly guitars and dig-at-your-heart harmonies. The latest album, "New Seasons," is what you'd listen to after the barn dance; the live show is the dance itself. You may know the Good brothers and their upright bass and drum-playing cohorts as Neko Case's backing band. They've also played with acts like Heavy Trash and more. This weekend they pair up with the raunchy White Devils to bring rock to your front door.
