THEATER: Irving Berlin's "White Christmas"

For many, Radio City Music Hall's "Christmas Spectacular" with the Rockettes is the quintessential holiday event. And although most of us won't be doing our shopping along NYC's trendy Park Avenue, we don't have to only dream of a "White Christmas."
Irving Berlin's cozy Christmas musical comes to the Auditorium Theatre this, and is Rochester's version of a Christmas Spectacular. Think Technicolor red against snowy white, madcap capers, lovers in love, and everything turning out just Danny-Kaye-dandy in the end. The family friendly theatrical runs through Sunday, December 16, with showings Wednesday, and Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m., Sunday at 7 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinees on the weekend. Tickets run $32.50-$59.50 and can be purchased via ticketmaster.com or rbtl.org. The Auditorium is located at 875 East Main Street.
