LECTURE: Ben & Jerry's' Jerry Greenfield (2/15)

Published on Feb 13, 2007

It began with $5 and a dream. After acing a Penn State correspondence course in ice cream, Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield went on to found the much-talked-about, and much-consumed, Ben & Jerry's Homemade Ice Cream, Inc. The duo's radical business philosophy, based on socially responsible business practices and fun management styles, created a very unconventional success story.

On Thursday, February 15, at 7:30 p.m. Greenfield travels to the University of Rochester's Strong Auditorium to promote the alternative business model. To catch the sure-to-be-fun talk, and possibly get a taste of the treat, contact the Common Connection at 275-5911 or pick up tickets at Wilson Commons on the campus. Tickets are $3 for University students, $7 for the University community and $10 for the general public.
