SNOW: For clean-up, city will enforce parking rules

The radar map shows today's snowstorm nearly ready to move out of the Rochester area.

Then, though, there's the clean-up. And city officials have issued a parking-restriction warning, in effect from 7 tonight until 9 tomorrow morning.

Alternate-parking will be strictly enforced so that snowplows can clear streets. And owners of cars that remain snowbound are subject to heavy penalties and towing.

Trash pickup scheduled for Thursday will be collected on Friday, and Friday's will be collected on Saturday. If your normal trash pick-up day is Thursday, you're asked to not put your trash and recycling containers tonight or tomorrow morning.
