COST OF WAR: The Iraq conflict by the numbers (3/7/07)

3163 US soldiers, 257 Coalition soldiers, and approximately 57,660 to 63,428 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to March 4.

4899 Iraqi police and guardsmen have been killed since January 2005, according to an estimate compiled from news reports.
