DEVELOPMENT: Monroe Avenue Rite Aid gets last approval

The City Planning Commission approved developer Fred Rainaldi's plan for a Rite-Aid development at Monroe Avenue and South Goodman Street last night, the last hurdle for that project. Among the permits the commission granted is approval to operate 24 hours a day. That approval is for only year, however; it will be re-evaluated after that period.
