LIBRARY: Losing faith in Brooks

"Porn and politics" indeed! I lost all respect for Maggie Brooks when she threatened to shut down the entire library system of a major city, an action that only showed her own crass lack of values.
She has turned out to be just another cheap politician: proposing to cause massive ignorance in tens of thousands of children and adults who would no longer have access to our prime free institution of learning, and playing the cheapest political trick in the world of trading votes over a hot-button issue.
How I hope there's a credible opponent the next time Brooks runs for office.
