POLITICS: Henrietta Republicans choose Yudelson
Supervisor Jim Breese is still considering a race

The Henrietta Republican Committee has endorsed Michael Yudelson, currently a town councilmember, as its candidate for supervisor. During a committee meeting Monday night, Yudelson beat out County Legislator Jack Driscoll, reportedly by one vote. Incumbent Supervisor Jim Breese said this morning that he decided against pursuing the committee nomination because, as he put it, Yudelson and Driscoll had the committee stacked. But Breese said he is talking with friends about forcing a primary. He'll have to decide by June 12, the first day to pass candidacy petitions.
