DANCE: Ro(chester)To(ronto) Dance Series (6/22-23)

Rochester and Toronto still have a link, even without a certain boat. The Park Avenue Dance Company, now in its 30th year, will showcase its collaboration with several acclaimed Toronto dancers and choreographers in ROTO 2: The RO(chester)TO(oronto) Contemporary Dance Series. The series is the result of the exchange and interchange of everything dance between the two communities, including original choreography and music, and live accompaniment.
ROTO 2 starts this week, Friday and Saturday, June 22-23, at 8 p.m. at the School of the Arts Main Theater, corner of University Avenue and Prince Street. It continues June 29-30 as well. Tickets cost $14-$20 (free for children under 12), and are available at Parkleigh or at Park Avenue Dance Company, 15 Vick Park B.
