ART EVENT: ARTWalk Muse-A-Thon (7/22)

You've always wanted to be a great artist's muse, and here's your chance. ArtWalk's annual Muse-A-Thon lets you collect pledges for walking through the smorgasbord of artistic delights that fill the one-mile walking loop along ArtWalk in the Neighborhood of the Arts. The event will coincide with City Newspaper's Sidewalk Chalk Art project and The Bop Shop's 25th Anniversary, which will include performances by Joe Beard and The Tarbox Ramblers, following the philanthropic parade.
Sign-in for the walk begins Sunday, July 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Merriman Park at the corner of University Avenue and Merriman Street. The walk begins at 12:15 p.m., led by The Arts & Cultural Council's Cultural Organization of the Year, Bush Mango Drum & Dance. The Sidewalk Chalk project takes place noon-3 p.m. at the corner of Anderson and Goodman streets. The Bop Shop's free concerts begin at 3 p.m. in the Village Gate Courtyard.
