This week's calls to citizenship include the following events and activities. (All are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.)
- Local supporters of Barack Obama's campaign for president will hold a low-donor fundraiser on Wednesday, July 25. The event will be held at Nathaniel's Pub, 291 Exchange Boulevard, from 6 to 8 p.m. Minimum contribution: $20. Information: 442-9906.
- The Rochester school district's School Without Walls will host a Community Service Faire on Friday, September 7, to let non-profit representatives meet SWW students, teachers, and parents. SWW students are required to volunteer two hours a week to a non-profit, non-sectarian community organization. Organizations that want to participate must register by August 31. - The annual Round Goby Round-up in the Erie Canal will be held on Saturday, July 28. Sponsored by the US Fish and Wildlife Service in cooperation with Finger Lakes Community College, Friends of the Lower Great Lakes Fishery Resources, and Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex, the event is designed to help track and research the invasive goby.
