FESTIVALS: Sterling Renaissance Festival

Living in the past is easy at the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Walk through the woods of the festival site and engage with costumed reenactors, watch plenty of free entertainment, and dine on turkey legs and mead. The festival is held each weekend, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. through August 19; this weekend's theme is Romance, and couples can have their vows renewed Olde English tyle.
The festival is located at 15385 Farden Road in Sterling; directions are on the website, www.sterlingfestival.com. Tickets cost $8-$22.
