If you're not convinced that all the cultural taboos around discussing menopause have been shattered, buy yourself that coffee mug that says "Menopausal Women Are Hotter" (with cheeky flame graphic!) and then head to Geva for the production of "Menopause: The Musical." This show, set in a Bloomingdales, apparently proves that commiseration and oldies with tweaked lyrics are the best therapy for any sort of negative effects "The Change" might wreak.
The show opens Friday, July 6, and plays through August 26. Geva Theatre is located at 75 Woodbury Boulevard. Tickets cost $44-$49 and can be purchased on Geva's website (www.gevatheatre.org), or by calling 232-4382.
