There's only a month left to see the Ansel Adams exhibit at the George Eastman House. If you haven't gone yet, this is the week, since the Eastman House has invited the legendary photographer's son, Michael Adams, to give a lecture on Sunday, August 12, at 4 p.m.
Michael Adams, who was born in Yosemite National Park, traveled with his father while he shot, and he'll speak about some of the iconic photos he saw his father take. The lecture takes place following a special event inspired by the exhibition, Ansel Adams Environmental Awareness Day, which runs 1-4 p.m. and features live music and sidewalk art.
The George Eastman House is located at 900 East Avenue. The Adams lecture costs $15, $10 for members and students. For more information, call 271 3361 or visit www.eastmanhouse.org.
