SPECIAL EVENT: Home Movie Day (8/11)

Other people's home movies might be boring and embarrassing, but yours contain the makings of a budding auteur, right? You can prove your mettle as an amateur filmmaker, and get a chance to see what you've filmed on the big screen, during Home Movie Day. The event will take place at venues all over the world on Saturday, August 11; Rochester's will be held at the George Eastman House.
You can drop off your films starting at 10 a.m.; submissions must be on 16mm, 8mm, or Super 8 film, and they will be inspected to make sure they are in good enough condition to project.
