COST OF WAR: The Iraq conflict by the numbers (9/12/07)

TOTALS - 3754 U.S. soldiers, 298 Coalition soldiers, and approximately 71,510 to 78,081 Iraqi civilians have been killed in Iraq from the beginning of the war and occupation to September 10.

6128 Iraqi policemen and guardsmen have been killed since January 2005, according to an estimate compiled from news reports.
