FESTIVAL: Rochester Irish Festival (9/7-9/9)

Published on Sep 05, 2007

The question: What do men wear under kilts? The answer: nothing. At least, that's the answer we'd like to hear. This Saturday you can try to find out the truth for yourself.

As part of the Rochester Irish Festival, taking place Friday, September 7, through Sunday, September 9, local celebrities will again slip into kilts and pose during the Best Legs in Rochester contest. Contestants include, but are not limited to, WHAM's Joe Lomonaco, Johnny Savino of Johnny's Irish Pub, NYS Police Major Steve White, Fickle's George Aceviedo, John Dady, and District Attorney Mike Green. A panel of prominent Rochester women will judge the event. Lucky gals.

The guys start showing their legs Saturday at 2 p.m. Admission to the festival is $10. Visit their website at rochesteririshfestival.org for a complete schedule.
