JUSTICE: Police chief reviewing 'gay-beating' report

The investigation into police response in the alleged June 1 beatings near Monroe Avenue - some of whose alleged victims were gay -has moved a step closer to a conclusion. The Civilian Review Board has completed its review of the police department's internal investigation and passed it on to Police Chief David Moore. Moore, who will conduct the final review, plans to update the public this week, says department spokesperson Deidre Taccone.
