Leave it to the Japanese to go ape shit over stuff America has forsaken. Rochester's Bludwulf is creating so much of a stir over there it's just a matter of time before the band has to go and feed the monster. Japanese metal fans are no doubt instrumental in another trend on the rise: vinyl. Not just vinyl, but 7" vinyl. That's right, 45s baby. Metal safe haven Relapse Records (former home of the half-Rochester powerhouse Mastodon) will begin releasing vinyl singles from bands that adhere to classic metal. Bludwulf's release will be the label's first.
