Rochester's surf rockers are back with the release of "Sounds Of The SubAtomic World." Even the sophomoric buffoonery that pops up between the band's wicked splash 'n' twang is actually brilliant. It's been more than three years since the last Isotope platter but it's worth the wait.
The Isotopes (with a bevy of dancing girls) play with The Emersons (celebrating 10 years of being Emersons), and Tom Foolery and The Shannanighans (with a bevy of drinking girls) Saturday, September 22, The Bug Jar, 219 Monroe Avenue, 454-2966, 9 p.m., $5.
