In its first year, the Rochester RazorSharks won the 2006 American Basketball Association championship. This year the team competes in a new league as it takes the court for its home opener this weekend. Rochester, along with several other former ABA teams, will kick off the first season of the Premier Basketball League, a 10-team league. After two road games with the upstart PBL, the RazorSharks will host the Reading Railers and have an early season rematch with home court advantage against the Jacksonville Jam.
The RazorSharks play the Reading Railers Saturday, January 12, at 2:05 p.m., and the Jacksonville Jam Sunday, January 13, at 1:05 p.m. at Blue Cross Arena.
