Perhaps once The Beard puts on his wooden coat, more of Cuba's glorious exuberant, polyrhythmic jazz will hit our shores. The musicians in Tiempo Libre grew up in Cuba, where performing rock music was a punishable offense. The band split
sub rosa for Miami, where its members reformed to perform with their newfound freedom. Twice nominated for a Grammy, this band's jazzy twist on Afro-Cuban beats is infectious, fun, and a whole lotta sexy. We're all going to get laid.
