It should be a duel of the titans at the Strathallan this weekend, when New York-based bop guitarist Joshua Breakstone meets up with Rochester's top bop man, Bob Sneider. After attending Berklee College of Music, Breakstone played with Warne Marsh, Vic Juris, and others before recording 17 albums as a leader with sidemen like Kenny Barron and Pepper Adams. Things should heat up when Breakstone and Sneider start trading fours and eights in a friendly competition.
