POLITICS: Kuhl running

Republican Representative Randy Kuhl will seek reelection for the 29th District Congressional seat. He declared his candidacy this morning at Monroe County Republican Party headquarters, and will make another announcement this afternoon in Corning.
The announcement negates rumors that Kuhl might retire and that Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks was a possible successor. Kuhl will face Corning Democrat Eric Massa, who unsuccessfully challenged him in 2006, and has been campaigning ever since.
