"Fusion" is the blending of two or more things to create a new entity. That's exactly what Fusion 2008 is all about: music, fashion, art, and skateboard culture coming together. DJ Analyze, Rhyson and the Heist, and Buffalo hip-hop artist, Gr& Phee will keep the beats grooving while Skye High displays its custom low-rider bikes and Krudco brings in sneakers and skating apparel. Sundays Skateshop, Sweet and Dirty, All for One, and Solemates will all have their sneakers and clothing on display as well, while artist Anwar Morse creates works live and in person, adding to the mix.
Fusion 2008 starts at 8 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, at Venu Resto-Lounge and Nightclub, 151 St. Paul Street. Tickets cost $10. For more information call 232-5650 or visit venurochester.com.
