Bike-friendlier Penfield

Penfield's Bike Committee will hold a public input meeting on the town's Bike Trail Master Plan at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, at Veteran's Memorial Park in Dolomite Lodge.

Wet-n-wild

The Center for Sustainable Living will hold a "Wetland Field Trip" on Saturday, July 19. Paula Smith, program administrator for the DEC, will explain the plants and hydrology system of nearby wetlands. The group will meet at Mendon Ponds Park, Calvary Lodge, at 10 a.m. Donations accepted.

Such devoted sisters

Metro Justice will hold PicNica, celebrating 20 years of Ciudad Hermana's solidarity with Rochester sister city El Sauce, Nicaragua, at noon on Saturday, July 19, at 325 Nunda Boulevard. Bring a dish to pass.

Catch him if you can

Mayor Bob Duffy will hold a walk and talk to hear residents' concerns in the North Clinton Avenue neighborhood on Tuesday, July 22, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The walk will start at 777 North Clinton.
