Just as Sandy Frankel has called for an IRS investigation of the Sports Centre so too should the City of Rochester investigate the RBTL. This organization is obviously a highly profitable corporation. It claims to have an "educational" component but this is a veneer, a transparent and bogus disguise. The RBTL is a concert promoter and as such should pay corporate and property taxes. Established using the the Jack Doyle model of robbing the taxpayers using a false Not-For-Profit the RBTL is an important Republican financier. It has also functioned as an effective extortionist against the City in the GOP effort to fund the expensive, and needless, downtown bus depot/theater. Jerry Seinfeld sells out two shows? If any other promoter put this show on they would pay taxes. Time to call the IRS!
