In your blog you mentioned very little runway challenges...I didnt watch this season at all, but I'm guessing that means there wasnt an episode where we had to watch miss J walk around in a dress rambling random BS to the models and causing more harm than good. Anyone remeber last cycle when he made the girls walk with books, and everyone left more confused than they started? I do. In my opinion, missing out on that is a better thing, I cant stand him...
""THANK GOD. Last year's hip-hop representation was pathetic, basically limited to Phillip Chbeeb's limited bag of tricks.""
---Dont Forget Tony, the HORRIBLE first week cut hip-hopper hahahaha
Rochester is lucky to have a show of this caliber. I saw it last night and absolutely loved it.
I too, am disappointed with the fact that opening night did not draw more people, and I would hope that sales increase so Cirque will bring more of their traveling shows to Rochester.
Is it just me or are they stretching out the auditions this year? Over the summer they did all the auditions over 2 weeks, (I think it was 2 or 3 nights a week) followed by one week of Vegas. At the rate they are moving, it seems like we will be lucky to see the competition start by Halloween...
Anyway, I was happy the hearing impaired girl killed her choreography round and made it to Vegas. Usually when reality TV shows latch on to something that they think will "inspire" someone, it is lame, (read: Tyra keeping Thalia the burn victim on top model) - but with her, she actually had some talent, and was worth watching.
Bravo SYTYCD!
So I finally watched this...
I'm really disappointed that the crazy crack hoe Amber did not end up appearing in the top 14. She was freakin insane...like, off to the looney bin insane, and would have made the show a million times more fun to watch.
I did think it was funny that Lisa got voted off twice in 2 hours too...what a boring girl she was.
Sending home Mary was the highlight of this rather dull episode.
I totally didn't see it coming, but thank god it happened!
oh bummer...I liked Mary until he started designing...bah
Malvin kind of creeped me out...like majorly...I could kind of tell he was going home right from the beginning though...Usually in the early parts of these reality shows, the episode tends to focus on someone who we have not really seen or heard from yet for the whole season, (did you see him in the first episode? I dont remember him) on the episode that they go home.
Honestly I wont miss him though...I'm glad they got rid of the space cadets early on.
I'd have to say though, my favorite part of the evening was when one of the designers made a reference to Stella, and said "Leathaaaa" - I wonder how she is doing haha.
I'm hoping next weeks challenge will be a little better...nobody has "Wow'ed" me yet, like in past seasons.
Thank god Heidi, Tim, Nina, and Michael are back...It was refreshing to be watching a real show about designers...You know....without Kelly Rowland. haha.
I agree with you about Lindsay Lohan. . . I was happy she was on, and had some actual comments as well.
Anyway, thank god this show is back!
hahahaha...Oh Dayna, I dont know you, and I certainly did not see this movie, but this review is one of the best I have read in a long long time!
Rachel McAdams in a chick flick?
No matter what you say about it, everybody will go see it...
