I remember seeing Gail's shoes on the first episode and thought... someone's going to fall over... but I don't think I've seen any since. I will also have to keep an eye out. :) As always, thank you for a great re-cap!
So glad to see this blog back... I'm afraid I'm very far behind and I'm sure it had a lot to do with the hours and hours of AI taking up my DVR. :)
Just a quick comment. Do people still not realize that this is a blog? That instead of attacking the writer's view, be respectful and make your point why you feel the opposite way.
I am a fan of David Cook, voted for him, bought the album, blah blah blah, but was not a fan of that performance. But I'm also not a Stones fan.
Recently on Opie and Anthony they were talking about Keisha and had a personality that is on the show a bit sing her song using the auto-tune and sounded excatly the same....
Yes I'll give it to him, he did ok with the song, but I'm with you, I don't think it was the performance to top all performances. Maybe it's because I also don't care for the song?? I'm not sure. I'm a hug Maroon 5 fan and did not like his interpretation of that either that first semi final week.... Or I'm just not liking him because of my own fertility struggles and think he's just a self absorbed ass. :)

I think I'm liking Lee. I actually liked his version much better than the orginal and it wasn't auto-tuned like the original :)
I'm sorry, maybe it was the whole, I'm trying out while my wife gives birth, but I can't stand Personal Trainer Mike. UGH, and then to have Kara crying over the perfomance... I'm sorry, I don't get it. Just another reason I don't care for Kara....
And how many times must we hear the line, "When you hit that sweet spot...." ugh. So over Kara.

I felt bad for Paige at the end of the show, they seemed to be having sound problems when they were playing back the performances/numbers. They straightened it out, but they could have replayed her clip real quick......
I liked Hailey, I don't think she'll win, but I hope she goes far. I liked Crystal, but she needs to do something about the smokers teeth.

I agree with Eric, Anthony seems to have been picked to portray the roll of sassy guy. Not even just this particular episode, but even from the first. If he had "sassy" things to say, they are going to tape that. Irinia definately was the same way. She did say one or two things out loud, but never backed herself up.
Though you can never get a movie based on a book to be just as good as it. I think having read it before helped me a bit more from being disappointed.

I have yet to watch this episode, but look forward to Eric's blog I just had to read. My comment is mostly for last week's elimination. I feel that I must have been missing a chunk of something when Zac tried to save himself before he was cut. He went off about how Morgan was a robot, blah blah blah, and that he's won all these challenges and no reaction at all. Yes, I do agree with those things, but I think out of the chefs he was the more talented.. this is just my opinion.
And from other episodes this season it didn't seem to me like they were taking into account past wins, or previous work. It seemed like challenge to challenge.. so I'm sorry Zac.. I don't think there was any way you would have been selected for that cake...
