Why aren't these schools meeting their goals? As a parent, I think the concept behind the Franklin schools is a very good one. What went wrong? I realize that low student performance confounds the problem by discouraging parents from sending students to the school, but innovative changes can inspire and bring attention to the community need for this type of school.
