Aja is a sit-down restaurant that serves a variety of Asian-inspired noodle and rice bowls. The portions are large, and the dishes --- especially the Japanese yakiudon bowl with tangy tonkatsu sauce --- are quite tasty. The atmosphere and decor are very modern, and it feels a bit like a chain. Someday it may be one.

The food is VERY good! Menu is easy to follow. Good for vegetarians or carnivores. However, I've been there 4-5 times thus far and it always seems like they're understaffed. Takes a bit longer for the wait staff to attend tables than I am used to. Food takes a while as well. The new one in Fairport has faster service and the food is just as delicious. Would not recommend if you're on a time crunch.
