The idea when you go to a diner is to eat cheap. The Atlantic Family Restaurant delivers on that point, but with shockingly high quality to boot. Food is always fresh and hot, well prepared and plentiful. The City Newspaper Burger Patrol also said it had the best version of Rochester’s famous “garbage plate” phenomenon. Tip your waittress; she deserves it.

I only have eaten breakfast here, and only when I'm too lazy to drive into the city to Jine's or Jim Browns. It is uninspiring, greasy, generally icky and it's in an ugly location.
