Churi Csaicai is one of the area’s most unusual business people. The spot across from Sea Breeze is an ice cream parlor, as well as a Thai restaurant and clothing store. Churi is from Thailand, and does all the authentic cooking herself. She’ll greet you personally, and you might just leave with a sarong. Try one of the fiery Churi Fever dishes, and pay attention to specials.

I LOVE this place! Churi is a great cook and who can turn down a satisfying ice cream after a delicious meal of peanut chicken?! She recently made some amazing renovations to the restaurant making the dining room so comfortable and inviting. The ice cream has moved to the little building outside next to the outdoor seating.

We tried this place tonight based on the above review and it was EXCELLENT!!! Very very good. We had the Panang Pork and Gang Phet Chicken. Tasty! She didn't have any ice cream because I guess she isn't normally open in the winter. With the Bay Outlet Bridge only open
November-March that is our best chance to go there (from Webster) - so I'm glad she seems to be open so far! Why didn't we know about this place?!

Oh, How we did fret that there seemed to be so few (read "none") options for this type of menu in the northern part of town. When we were told of it we figured some NEW place had finally come to our rescue...only to learn it had been here for 15 years. Churi's is outstanding. Meals such as these cost four times the price in NYC and they're worth every penny. Treat yourself tonight and pat yourself on the back for adding a new place in your repertoire of fine eateries. Did I say it was outstanding? Oh, yes. It most certainly is. Never thought I'd find a place I enjoy even more than Mamasan's..and so close. COOL!!!!!
