Finally a restaurant that keeps the same hours every day of the week! There also are not many places that stay open as late as Cibon, especially early in the week. It is the perfect place for a late night coffee and dessert, or a glass of wine or a martini. The interior is dark, yet inviting. There are less expensive sandwiches on Park Avenue, but the presentation and freshness are special, with many vegetarian options.

Three words: freezer burned gelato.
Yuck.

I had the most wonderful cup of coffee at Cibon the other afternoon. My compliments.

Desserts and hot coffee inside on a chilly winter day or sun, food and drink at an outdoor table in the summer. How can you go wrong?? A touch of Europe here in Rochester...

Great atmosphere. After dark, the music gives it a "too hip to be Rochester" feel. I really enjoy the appetizers and pizza. The cheese plate is a particularly good. The wine list is constantly being updated, which makes for a great way to try new things.

Not sure what happened to this place. It was great when it first opened but after a recent visit, it's rather lacking. The wines can be found in any budget, closeout bin around town, the baked goods aspire to be stale, and food should be heated to at least room temp. The service was good but this restaurant aspires to be a french style cafe and fails to deliver. I rather pay a little more for honest ingredients than try to be fooled by lesser quality at this price point. Yes, I realize we're Rochesterians and not Manhattanites but give us a little more credit than this.

I must respond to Gordon's comments on Cibon. I hve been a regular customer for some time and am a wine dessert hound. I have tried most of there offerings on many visits and have always found them excellant, I really love the chocolate cake They told me it comes from Malek's bakery. As for the wine list I have been pleasantly surprised when I have found a wine from the list around town which is not always possible because many are from small case lots Cibon is fairly pricing there bottles. For Rochester that is hard to find for sure. I resently had a beautiful glass of cote du rhone for $6 and later saw it at a near by store for $14 for the bottle!!

A very popular cafe/restaurant/bar on upper Park. Cibon offers a uniquely cozy setting, suitable for different kinds of outings. The decor, music, food, & drink are all wonderful.
Not many establishments exude such character. A must try.

The mixed drinks were $8 and watered down. If I'm going to pay Manhattan prices, at least make the drinks strong!
