Owner Jerry Manley bought his bratwurst recipe from the previous owner, Rainer Dralle, and it rocks. Plus Jerry’s City Newspaper Critic’s Choice pies are so good you just might cry. Long-time fans of the place should note the change of address.

The BEST Diner in town. We eat there whenever possible. The place to go for eggs benedict on the weekend. The benedict special changes week by week from Cajun to Wassabi and on. Also great twists on Steel cut Oatmeal. The bourbon raisin french toast is to die for. The first time my husband tried it he jabbered of little else for days afterwards. All the staple items are excellent as well. The sausage is made there so be sure to try a side of brat with your meal. The owner/head chef, Jerry, is a riot. It is also child friendly if you stay away from peak times. We only tried dinner once but it was amazing.

Jerry,
Thank's for using Balsam Bagels. You know the best bagels around are at Balsam.
Much success,
