If you went into your favorite restaurant every week and asked for a new dish each visit, how long could the cook keep it up? Ming has managed this over seven years with one City Newspaper critic. The food isn’t terribly fancy, but it is terribly good, and downright cheap. Start with the dozen types of noodles, and move your way into the outer reaches of Ming’s repertoire. A City Newspaper Critic’s Choice for tea, too (Ming’s uncle runs a tea estate in China).

Great, cheap food as stated in the City review.
But pick it up yourself, rather than having it delivered. Maybe the driver takes too long, but it's always kind of cold and gross whenever I've had it brought to my house and the microwave can only do so much.

Ming has the best noodles! The ho-fun noodles are the best. I have olny eaten at the one on South Clinton. I love watching them cook. It's a true hole in the wall type atmosphere, but that's what I love about it. Hot noodles in the Winter can't be beat.

Far and above my favorite Chinese place. I always get a chicken meal (usually sesame) and the chicken is very tender, unlike most other Chinese food restaurants. Great sauces too. Ming's is the first place I think of when someone suggests getting Chinese, has been for 6 years now.
